I am nuts or was Temeka fouled on the now infamous last 6 second play? I was there and thought at that time, she was fouled. I just saw the play in slow motion, she looked like she was fouled to me. Either way.... Congratulations to the Lady Tigers for a great season. We'll get 'em next year. :geaux:
She wasn't fouled. We lost. It sucks, but we'll have a better team next year, so let's get back there and beat the Lady Vols.
I Tivo'd it about 20 times. No foul. She was just out of control. IN FACT, they could have called a travelling violation had she held onto the ball... But a GREAT year for the Lady Tigers and my hat is off to them... LET'S GO GET 'EM NEXT YEAR!!!!!!

Foul or Not, to Debate is Pointless The defeat is STILL a bitter pill to swallow this morning! And I believe that because of the Tenn/Baylor officiating controversy, even if a foul were committed on TJ, the refs would've swallowed their whistles before blowing them. It was just not going to happen. Nonetheless, I am so very proud of this team and the run they made this year, not to mention FINALLY making it to the Big Dance! And with the great recruiting class we've got coming in to add to the returning players, I see nothing but blue skies (and victories!) ahead! Terrific season, Ladies! Love You!!!! :geaux:
The best thing to happen to the Lady Tigers is to get a taste of the final four and now have a hunger for winning it all next year. Tameka Johnson and Seimone Augustus will lead the team to a national championship next year. Look for them to be ranked in the top 5 preseason polling as well.
