Two division champions playing each other, how often will that happen.


The only games that are even half decent the first week are:
Alabama vs CLemson
Missouri vs Illinois
Virginia vs USC
California vs Michigan State


Personally, I think ESPN Game Day will probably go to either LSU/AP. State or Clemson/Alabama. I haven't heard anyone really talk about this though...

Atlanta is the site of the Alabama/Clemson Game. It's a neutral field.
ESPN Radio said GameDay will definitely be in Atlanta for August 30th, or that they were considering Atlanta???

It wasnt confirmed but they said they would be in Atlanta when talking about football a few weeks ago.

I think JSU-GT is that Thursday on ESPN, so it would make sense. And yes, I know Atlanta is a neutral site.

Beings that we tailgate on the Parade Grounds, I will be happy if Gameday never sets up there again.

Exacatly what I thought. Our game is interesting though with the two national champs. But considering Bama and Clemson could have top 20 teams, ESPN would go to Atlanta.

Hopefully they won't regret not coming. :wink:
