They are still out the top on Ebay. They are still astronomical on StubHub. The auctions on Ticketmaster are obnoxious. You guys know and have seen the trend. I expected prices to drop and they haven't much, if any. Is there any site or anywhere to buy tickets for a scalped price....but not insane price? I'm not paying $750 for an upper deck seat with a face value of probably $200. I saw WAY too many fakes and counterfeits to try and find one on the street before the game and heard horror stories of people spending thousands on fakes in '03. Anyone that can help out would be greatly appeciated but I'm probably beating a dead horse here. Thanks and Geaux Tigers!

If there were tickets available at a reasonable price then we would all be going to the game.

I was at the '03 game (BTW, the face value on my ticket was $150 then.), and I saw a number of people getting absolutely screwed on the street. Worst I saw was $600 per. Dude had a ticket that looked like mine - it was fake. I felt bad for the people, I really did. It was weird walking up to the Dome and having all those people on Poydras staring at you.

If you get a ticket, do it the legit way. Good luck. Wish I could be there this year.

Some ticket holders that were picked in the lottery ordered the max on tickets, A Couple that I know of, needed two tickets and sold the others and made as much as they could get out of them. Our number was right pass the cut-off so of course Im not happy about them doing it,
But Im gonna sit up on this mountain , in the warm house, and come out with a better feeling wallet. But would really love to be down in the Big Easy for the game
By the way the App State people ( up here in Boone) have really been crowing , App beat Mich, Mich beat Florida, So they are really cocky now.
Hope everyone has a great new Year and to all going to the Game , be Safe, and !!!!!!!!!!!!!!GOOOOOOOOOOOO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:geauxtige !!!:geauxtige :geauxtige

My wife is willing to let me spend $600-$700 for one ticket, and I think she is crazy for letting me and I think I'm crazy for considering spending that kind of money on an UPPER DECK SEAT! I don't want to miss it though. I missed it in '03 and I've regretted it since. To make the counterfeit matters worse....there are like three or four different looking tickets this year. In '03 there was only one. Now you have to figure out the tell tales on three or four tickets instead of just one....if you choose to roll the dice and buy one on the street. A counterfieter almost had me in '03 but I caught the last tell tale before handing him $800. Luckily I'd done my home work and knew what to look for and luckily he didn't shoot me and take off with the cash! It's just sad that LSU fans are extorting other LSU fans on Ebay, Dand Don, etc....absolutely pathetic!!!

You won't be able to get them for horribly cheap, but the broker I bought my tickets through, BigRedTickets, will have an office down in the CBD. You might not be able to match the prices on the street, but you'll have a sense of mind for knowing you'll be getting legitimate tickets.

I ended getting just one ticket (Ohio State option on Ticket Reserve....but invested way too much go get it) but now my NO housing has fallen through. Does anyone have any last minute hotel suggestions?

What if I let you stay at my house for about $750, or whatever the price of admission is for me?

Dear LSU fan, that's the way to do it. My Dad has a garconnaire. Sweet. Dude can stay in the back.
