Interesting note. Only one team in the top 10 has beat a top 10 team. Guess who? Give you a few hints: - They’ve beaten not one, but 2 top 10 teams. - Both away from home - First team to beat 2 top 10 teams in the 1st 3 weeks since 1971
Washington was ranked 10th when Auburn beat the Huskies. It's the second best win of the year for any team, LSU over Auburn being the best three weeks in.
But we aren’t sexy like Clemson, Bama, UGA, OU and tOSU so haters gonna hate. I like it. We don’t need that “rat poison” getting in our heads. Stay focus on improving and blocking out all the noise.
Best wins this year (in terms of beating highest ranked team): 1) Auburn over #6 Washington 2) LSU over #7 Auburn 3) LSU over #8 Miami However, we were #25 and beat a top 10 team so thats impressive. Then we beat a top 10 on the road who already beat the #6 team, even more impressive. Just goes to prove preseason rankings really mean dick all. But in terms of most impressive wins LSU holds that title right now.
So, two of the three teams that we beat are ranked ahead of us. I'm surprised SLU isn't also. Geez, don't you think somebody would check this before its posted and say, "Hummmmm, maybe our computer program needs some tweaking...."
