ULM is giving UGA all they can handle in the 3rd quarter.

20-7 - UGA but ULM scored the last TD and had a nice drive going

Why put my foot in my mouth? Until the late 3rd quarter, ULM was playing them quite tough and even shoved UGA's OL around like rag dolls until the mid 2nd half.

UGA played terrible most of the game.

Thomas Brown didn't even suit up for this game.

This was a game where you just hope no one gets hurt.

44-7 is pretty typical of Richt. He won't put 50 on a pick-up game.

This game is pretty irrelevant to the SEC East race.

Vandy won, and will be ahead of Florida or Tennessee by two games.
    Now that is news! :)

Right-O! The East race is a 3-team battle between UF, UT and UGA. UT has dropped from this race in terms of having their faith in their own hands after their loss to the Gators.

I thought UT was the front-runner for the East--guess I bought into the "hype" surrounding them before the season, but I'll change my mindset and say that I predict UGA to beat UF and UT and win the East.

UGA will be LSU's biggest fans because we can help the Bulldogs a GREAT deal by beating both the Vols and Gators.

And since I'm confident in our chances vs Tennessee this weekend, and if our defense has their "kinks worked out", I'll feel a lot better than what I already do for our chances vs Florida, then I believe UGA will be in good shape in the East.

Vany will win the west at 7-1. :hihi:

The big game of the year in the SEC will be when unbeaten LSU goes into to Nashville to face 5-0 Vanderbilt. Man, does that feel strange to type. :yelwink2:

Actually, that's GREAT for us! Vandy will be ranked by then--or pretty damn close! They got a vote for the top 25 heading IN to this week.

Since the SEC went to a two div format 13 years ago in 1992, the winner of the Florida-Tennessee game has gone onto the SEC Championship game 9 times. Tenn won't beat both UGA and LSU and I don't see UGA beating Florida so i predict that, provided we do what we need to do, we will face Florida in the SEC CG.

Also, provided that we do what we need to do (which is to go undefeated) we will pass an unbeaten Texas team even if they are ranked 2nd in both polls based on our schedule alone. Texas just picked the wrong year to get hot. OU is now worried about having enough wins to be bowl eliigable and beyond OSU they don't have a single game that they can say that would give any other NC contender too much trouble. They just don't have the schedule to justify being ranked above an unbeaten SEC team. In fact, i think that when the BCS polls come out, if we are undefeated , we pass them by the second poll. And to those of you who will say "Thats what Auburn thought" AU didn't start in the top 5. We were #3 by the second week.

It's always those teams you don't think will beat you that suprise you. Remember UAB? No doubt Miles and team will take Vandy seriously, maybe we should give them a nod too.
