It was highly thought that Kiffin leaving Bama cost them the NC in the playoffs that year. So the precedent is there for it to be an "issue".

Can’t understand why he’d take a 2 million dollar cut in pay to go to UNLV and jut don’t see it happening.
I don’t care if he leaves either but he better not screw up our run. Never was impressed with his defense and I’m fully confident O can replace him.
A year or two ago, I would have been much more upset about this, but less so now. He seems replaceable. Agree with @islstl about playoff disruption, but I think we’ll be okay there.
