If found to be true then this is quite disturbing.

I'd have no problem getting rid of the cell phones.........freakin can't stand them.

Example: I was trying on shoes at Academy Friday and this overweight, breathless, dough azz comes walkin up-aided by a walking cane- and plops down on the next seat a little ways down.

He goes on, and on, and on with someone about the MOST FRIVILOUS topics. His comments showed he was one of these wise-azzes who thinks they know everything.....was giving tips on everything from how to avoid problems with gas storage to relationships- the pit falls of divorce...then up comes his wife at which point he says, "I'm talking to our newly divorced...." and starts telling HER all the "Great advice" he gave him. :(

"Far-fetched" is a good discription for this. But then I thought global warming and a dinosaur-killing asteroid was far-fetched too.

Don't know if that is the reason but I just mentioned to someone the other day that it seems like there are not as many bees around as they once were.

Technology may have far-reaching consequences that are beyond what we know today.

I am one of the biggest fans of new technology, and how it can and will improve our lives.

But I am becoming much more wary about what we are being sold today.

If bees disappeared, we'd adapt and find a new way to pollinate crops.

Personally, I don't mind bees (except the carpenter bees that drill holes in wood - not cool). I'd much rather see wasps disappear.

If horse flies and yellow flies dissapeared I I would be a lot happier.

Ah yes, when I lived in the country horse flies were horrible.

I doubt anyone would lament the loss of hornets/wasps, horse flies, or mosquitos. Where are the animal rights activists concerning these animals, by the way?

We had all but wiped out mosquitoes at one point. If we could have just kept going a little longer.....who knows?
