From what I am reading on their board, few if any will make the trip. Not sure how many outside of parents will be here. Hotels are beyond scarce now too so....
didn't you hear???? their parents won't be there either. In fact half the team may not show up. Phat Phil says their parents don't want their kids playing in the rain. Word is they are going to have to play both ways with limited number of players available for the game. Their punt team will only consist of 10 guys since Phil doesn't want to risk losing both quarterbacks, and Ainge will be punting. That Jim Bob Cooter dude is gonna kick the field goals. Just FYI.
I doubt if they have 2,000 show up. In order to get tickets I went through some friends and got 10 in the UT section. Since Katrina screwed up my NO stay and the motels seem booked I tried to get rid of them, but everyone else is doing the same. I sent them to my buddy in Thibodaux and I am hoping he can get a little something for them. Is there a glut of tickets down there since the game is now going to be on Monday?
Hunting season starts Monday... then Tuesday is garbage pickup... ...so don't expect too many. :hihi:
The real question is for the Vol fans who DO come, how will the LSU fans treat them? Our normal hospitable way or the rumored hateful way?
