I dunno. After the less-then-stellar performance against Vandy, I'm really not sure how we're gonna do against Bama. Ole Miss we should have no problem, but Arkansas is gonna give us trouble in Little Rock. Bama is the most difficult opponent we have left. Dear God, we've gotta beat 'em.
What was less than stellar against Vandy? We didn't put up 50 points? We ran the ball down their throats and gave up 7 points. That will beat most teams. Have some confidence.
LSU is capable of winning out but they are going to have to play a lot more focused and with a lot more intensity against Alabama, Ole Miss and Arkansas than they did in th Troy and Vandy games. In both of those games it appeared that the Tigers were just going through the motions.
LSU can easily win out, and leave the regular season with a 9-2 record. All they have to do is keep the fundamentals in their mind- making sure to get a clean tackle (no more of this arm tackle stuff), don't drop passes, etc, and cut down on turnovers. The offense doesn't have to do great, just not give the ball away, and they'll be fine.
Sure, we ran the ball down their throats, after they spotted us the ball on their own 20 yardline twice. Of course, that's to the defense's credit. But our offense only scored 10 of the 24 we had. I have confidence in the team. But you can't ignore the fact that the team is going to have to perform better than it did with Vandy to beat Bama.
I don't know if you noticed... but Bama's is playing pretty well to, so our offense is going to have to step up this week.
uhmmm....rah rah rah! We is gonna roll all over the tide. They have no chance :lsug: :tigerhead :lsug: :tigerhead  :champs: :lsug: :tigerhead :geaux: ldskule: :helmet: Ya....we could turn it over 494,493,129,495 in 1 quarter, and we'd still win. We're gonna stick it to 'em. We will dominate, and by the end of the first half, the boys from 'Bama are gonna be broken. :geaux:
