than this time 4 years ago? several things about the two BCS championship games seem quite opposite-- LSU rolled a great UGA team in the SECCG--vs--LSU squeaked by an ok UT. '03 LSU dominated down the stretch--vs--'07 LSU makes every game close. OU was hailed as one of the best ever--vs--OSU is lucky to be in the game. OU was favored---vs---LSU is favored Me? I'm less confident because LSU's O hasnt clicked for more than a qtr in a long time.
More. Our bowl history since then is much better. We've won 33 of our last 39 games. This is a whole new ball game. What happened before is of no consequece.
I hear what ya saying Gumbo, but I have to go with SabanFan on this one. Nothing in the past matters other than getting there. This is the big dance and both teams know it! This will be very much a game in the trenches! :geaux:
It funny but I don't have a feel for if we will win this or not. But that is exactly the same way I felt when I walked into the Dome Jan 4th 2004.

I feel exactly what you're saying about the way we played down the stretch in '03, as opposed to this year. However, this team has shown the ability to dominate like the '03 team. So, I'm definitely hoping that dominate version of our team is in our "Dome away from home" tonight. I'm cautiously confident that we will win, and will in fact, be quite disappointed if we somehow don't.
