Arena Football... Olympic Sport?

    I read in my Cowboys Weekly this week that Jerry Jones is promoting to the Olympic board making the AFL into an Olympic sport.

    Does anyone else think this would be cool as hell?

    I know they couldn't play "real" football because America would win 100-0 every game, but in arena, all you really need is speed. I think it would be interesting.

    I want to see any form of football. We should put NFL players in it. :grin: Maybe the Saints players so they could actually win something? ;)

    I think any football in the Olympics would be cool but it kind of contradicts what the Olympics are about.

    No one considers any areana players as some of the best athletes in the US or the world. 3rd tier football athletes just doesn't make sense to me.

    That would be awesome, just like Dream Team that absolutely crushed everyone in route to the Gold in basketball.

    3rd tier NBA players on the USA Basketball team doesn't make sense either, but they do that. lol
