This LSU team is peaking at tournament time, like Skip's teams used to do. By being seen as a rising team and having one of the biggest stadiums in college baseball, which LSU fills, I think LSU will get the tourney host.

We have locked up a regional host spot but do you think that is enough for a Super Regional Host site.

Mr. Bracketology on ESPN didn't even have us as hosting a regional, although he did comment that he expected us to move into his top 16 teams and getting it with a win or two in the SEC tourney. So obviously we're clearly going to host a regional, thank goodness.

I think we deserve a national bid, but all the pundits have not been including LSU in the discussion for super regional bids.

Of course I do. But they don't ask me.

Been reading tweets all weekend mentioning the possibilities and how it was better for Ole Miss to go 2-0 instead of them winning one and us beating them and how we needed to root to face UF in final game. Many of the projection sites were running with it and even a bunch during the broadcast.

Looks like Baseball America is projecting us as a #7 seed.
