Around the SEC – Florida has a new baseball coach (old news, but I have not noticed it posted) Kevin O'Sullivan the 38-year-old pitching coach at Clemson was officially introduced as Florida's new baseball coach a week after Florida fired it previous coach. O’Sullivan has been Clemson's pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for the last 9 seasons. A native of Jupiter, Florida, O'Sullivan played 2 years as a catcher at FloridaCommunity College then transferred to Virginia where he finished his college career. He has been an assistant coach at Florida Community College, FloridaAtlantic and with the Fort Myers Twins of the rookie league. As of now, the 2008 season line up of SEC Baseball Coaches, and their years as head coach at the school are as follows: SEC West Arkansas -Dave Van Horn – 6th year Alabama – Jim Wells – 14th year Auburn – Tom Slater – 4th year LSU – Paul Mainieri – 2nd year MSU – Ron Polk – 29th year Ole Miss - Mike Bianco – 8th year SEC East Florida – Kevin O’Sullivan – 1st year Georgia – David Perno – 7th year Kentucky – John Cohen – 5th year South Carolina – Ray Tanner – 12th year Tennessee - Todd Raleigh – 1st year Vanderbilt – Tim Corbin – 6th year I am pretty sure this is correct, but if anyone has any corrections, or other updates please post them. ldskule: ldskule: ldskule: ldskule:
