Around the SEC – Florida has a new baseball coach (old news, but I have not noticed it posted)

Kevin O'Sullivan the 38-year-old pitching coach at Clemson was officially introduced as Florida's new baseball coach a week after Florida fired it previous coach. O’Sullivan has been Clemson's pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for the last 9 seasons. A native of Jupiter, Florida, O'Sullivan played 2 years as a catcher at FloridaCommunity College then transferred to Virginia where he finished his college career. He has been an assistant coach at Florida Community College, FloridaAtlantic and with the Fort Myers Twins of the rookie league.

As of now, the 2008 season line up of SEC Baseball Coaches, and their years as head coach at the school are as follows:

    SEC West
Arkansas -Dave Van Horn – 6th year
    Alabama – Jim Wells – 14th year
    Auburn – Tom Slater – 4th year
    LSU – Paul Mainieri – 2nd year
    MSU – Ron Polk – 29th year
Ole Miss - Mike Bianco – 8th year

    SEC East
    Florida – Kevin O’Sullivan – 1st year
    Georgia – David Perno – 7th year
    Kentucky – John Cohen – 5th year
South Carolina – Ray Tanner – 12th year
    Tennessee - Todd Raleigh – 1st year
    Vanderbilt – Tim Corbin – 6th year

I am pretty sure this is correct, but if anyone has any corrections, or other updates please post them.

Bad move AFAIK. McMahon's a great coach. I'm not sure what UF's problems were this year. I'm not sure how much better O'Sullivan will be.
