Interesting read with some good points about the diffeneces between the BCS and the RPI, etc...

How great would it be to get a chance to beat Florida twice back-to-back. It would be great for the SEC but I would rather smack down USC in the Big Easy.

IDK if the powers-that-be would accept an "SEC" national title game... but it would be sweet to smack dem gators down twice.

Well, they did come pretty close to accepting an all Big 10 NCG this year--and in the end, aren't we all glad they didn't? Otherwise, neither Michigan, nor Ohio State would've been exposed for the overrated teams they were.

Yeah, that's echoes of Michigan-OSU last year. Only, wait, this time the teams really are the top two in the nation. Whoops.

They don't have a conference championship game though... No one would want to see two teams play 3 times in one year.

Even ESPN would be screaming at that point. Viewership would be in the toilet, and that means ad revenue comparable to PBS.

i think it would depend on how good the games were, if they split and if there are any other teams considered to be close to the top 2. but it would take a special scenario

Could we see LSU on GameDay twice at home?
