http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2022675 This kid looks like ASU's version of Cecil the Diesel (except Diesel was framed, of course.:yelwink2 Oh yea, and he never allegedly killed somebody. Anybody know if this kid was slotted to be their starter?
amazing that people have to resort to murder (alledgedly) to solve their issues. ASU now gets a vote for THUG U. Necer thought I would see the day.
More information on the situation, shooter and victim. Wade was expected to make a contribution this year. Falkner (victim) had a mother in a coma, and was striving to continue his ed. at ASU. http://www.azcentral.com/sports/asu/articles/0326wadearrest-ON.html ASU player is arrested in murder Former safety shot to death outside Scottsdale nightclub Anne Ryman, Emily Bittner and Lindsey Collom © 2005 The Arizona Republic Mar. 26, 2005 01:30 PM Arizona State University football player Loren Wade is being held in the shooting death of former ASU player Brandon Falkner outside a Scottsdale hip-hop club early Saturday morning. Brandon Falkner, 25, of Tempe, was shot in the head as he sat in his BMW outside the club CBNC near McDowell and Scottsdale roads. The shooting appears to have been over Wade's girlfriend, former ASU soccer standout Haley vanBlommestein. Wade, 21, fired one shot after having "sharp words" with Falkner, whose vehicle then proceeded several hundred feet across the parking lot, struck another vehicle and hit a tree, police said.
Oh, well now it doesn't look as bad. This totally explains and justifies killing another human being. Glad to see that guns are now part of going out with your buddies, how nice.
I will never, never EVER understand what motivates people to do those types of things... I mean, I can understand over reactions like if you caught your wife in bed with the bellboy on your honeymoon after checkin...Or something else fantastically ridiculous as that...But, because she was near the car of a guy you didn't like, or didn't even know? How juvenile is that? He threw 40 some odd years of his life away on a stupid decision...On a girl standing where he thought she shouldn't have been...I just don't understand it....
Kinda makes you feel lucky to have ever survived college night-life doesn't it? After all, with Vandy's RB and Idaho's CB both shot dead this year, and then THIS..... Oh--throw in the shooting spree at an NC State football game this year, and it's amazing to see all these college kids either being in the wrong place at the wrong time or feel that they have to carry a gun...
I think Scottsdale is the same place where that Cincinnati Reds baseball player unfortunately died a couple of years ago.
Somebody please refresh my memory....Was it ASU or Washington or some other school where a top RB recruit was shot in the chest and killed right before he was suppose to report for Fall practice?
