After getting a reprieve from the officials to add back 3 seconds, the Washington O-line STILL couldn't get set in time to get one final play off inside inside the 15 to try and upset USC.

That was worse than anything LSU did today.

    And that's saying something.

EXCEPT the zebras should have added back 4 seconds. Clock was at 0:36 and ran to 0:32.

Yeah, I watched it live on DirecTV channel 651. Good effort by the huskies but no cigar.

Pete Carroll must sleep with horseshoes.

I mean the left side of the O-line was just standing around as if they were looking for some directions from the QB.

    wtf?

Right, we haven't done anything that stupid at the end of the game before. Like purposefully throw the ball to a covered receiver on the 5 yard line (instead of the end zone) when down by 4 with no time left...

I hate Jamarcus Russell. He's like Josh Booty on steroids. Who cares if you can throw the ball 70 yards from your knee if you can't hit a wide open receiver on a 20 yard route? Anyone count how many hospital passes he made today, where the receiver had to completely stretch out to have a chance at catching the ball while a Florida safety barrelled head first at them? We're so talented that this is disgusting. With our defense and receivers we only need a consistent, accurate passer (like Matt Flynn) starting, instead of the most talented yet less reliable gun-slinger available. We'd be undefeated right now...

    I'd have to whole-heartedly agree with u.

I think it's time we stop drooling over his raw talents, and see him for what he is worth. I stated after the Auburn game that he had not progressed very much from when he was a freshman. He proved me correct today, more than ever.

He still looks in one direction way too much. Only a third of his passes are really on target. The rest are circus catches by talented receivers.

Had Matt Flynn started all this while, what a lovely thing to be undefeated and 2nd ranked in the nation, as we should be.
