I just thought I'd post this here to help some of you guys realize just how special LSU's 2003 run actually was, even though you guys STILL like to complain about "sharing" a national championship. :dis:

Good luck against the pigs and I hope you guys beat the hell out of whoever you get in a bowl...hopefully Texas.

WAR DAMN EAGLE and Go SEC!

You're only kidding yourself if you think we don't realize how special it was.

Thanks for wishing us well against Ark.

If Auburn did pass us, I was going to root for them.

It's still early. We both have a game left. Anything can happen. This is college football.

Anyway, good luck and beat the hell out of whomever you play in the bowl games be it USC or ????.

D-Day: War's over, man. Wormer dropped the big one.

Bluto: What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

    Otter: Germans?

    Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.

Bluto: And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the going gets tough . . . the tough get going. Who's with me? Let's Go! Come on! AAAAEEEEEGGGHHHH!!

John "Bluto" Blutarsky: "Oh, we're afraid to go with you Bluto. We might get in trouble."Well, just kiss my ass from now on! Not me. I'm not gonna take this! Wormer, he's a dead man! Marmalard, dead! Niedermeyer . . .

Eric "Otter" Stratton: Dead. Bluto's right, psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now, we could fight 'em with conventional weapons, that could take years, and cost millions of lives. No, in this case, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture, be done on somebody's part.

OK Barner......why are you quitting now? LSU did not get our move into the top 2 until after the SECCG. Hope your team and players do not have your mentality.

    Get a grip man!

    No doubt.

UCLA or Notre Dame has a chance to beat them.

Of course if OU plays Auburn in the National Championship, I will go from being Tom Hanks in Castaway on this board to just Wilson his Volleyball.

And let's not forget that there is still a Big XII as well as SEC championship to be played.

OU learned their lesson last year in the Big 12 CG ... they'll destroy whomever they play this year.

Last week I pulled for Auburn ... and now I'm a Fighting Irish fan?!?!

The world must be coming to an end...
