Do you guys think Auburn has a chance against UT? UT's defense can't hold a candle to LSU's or Auburn's I don't think, so this might be a higher scoring game like last year. I'm hoping we can rough up on the rookie QB's of theirs and force some mistakes. Kind of close to call since it's in Knoxville...

yes I think Auburn will give UT fits. I hope that UT wins but not big. I think this is Auburn's big chance to win the west and move up significantly in the polls. I think this but it doesn't mean it will happen or that i want it to. I hope UT wins by 7 Poll wise you should hope for an LSU win. An LSU win over the East will knock UGA below Auburn IF you beat UT and would still keep you ahead of us. if you think Auburn isn't good enough to win the rest of it's SEc games and need a cushion, you'd be pulling for the Dawgs. makes no matter since we lost to you folks we're on a mission to whoop everybody. UT will win ( I hope ) an Auburn win wouldn't suprise me though. I hope UT beats you then you get a little careless and one of the other hungry SEC teams like Ark. might suprise you. It isn't unheard of.
Auburn can run and stop the run. Any team that can do that will be in all of their games. If Auburn really wants to take the next step, they need to be able to win this type of game where they have significant leadership advantages. While a UT win helps LSU, I expect Auburn to win. GEAUX TIGERS

Auburn, certainly, has a very good chance to win this game. I see it going down to the wire with Auburn prevailing. It'll be something like: Aub 23, Tenn 20 The National Champions 14 Also Ran Dawgs 13 :geaux:
Playing in Knoxville isn't easy. UT has a good team and is a contender for the SEC East. But Auburn has a chance because like us, UT will be using a Freshman QB--but unlike the game against us, the Vols freshman QB has big-game experience. This can go either way. My head says Auburn with it's defense playing the way they are and with Cadillac and Brown's abilities to run effectively and control the clock....But obviously my heart is pulling for the Vols! :thumb: It'll be yet another nail-biter for Auburn, but as a rival fan, I'm going to say UT wins in a close one...
