With having to replace two buses on the trip, Tiger Band finally made it back. I have to say, that game felt like a home game. Despite being shoved into the corner of the stadium with no view of the replay screen (a big tree was in our way), it was a lot of fun. It was great to see late in the 4th quarter when all the Vandy fans in the endzone had left, that all the Tiger fans in that area moved and grouped together to form a big section of their own. :thumb::thumb: Just a bit of information, but while we were on the field for halftime, someone pissed on some of the meals in our section. I do not know who it was, because I was not there, but that is absolutely terrible. Angered me for a long time. How'd we sound for all you Tigers watching from home? I saw we had two mics on us and the cameras panning us a lot... :thumb::thumb::thumb::geauxtige The team came and sang the Alma Mater with us again. Very nice to see so many fans stay and watch it...
That guy was sitting right behind me during the game.... until he was kicked out after that happened. I went to get food at the time, so I didnt see him relieve himself. By the way the band was awesome during the game :thumb: ... cant forget to mention the golden girls too
The LSU crowd in Vandy was awesome and the band was loud. Very impressive showing by LSU fans. Hope we rocked some buses to give Vandy the full LSU experience.
I was at the game. I think it is safe to say that we outnumbered Vandy fans by about 2-1. My personal favorite was all our fans booing the Vandy band (quite possibly the worst band I have ever heard. My nephew's Jr. High plays their songs) while they started playing during our Alma Mater.
Hopefully, Frank or Linda will report that incident to Vandy's administration and to the Southeastern Conference. It'll show that LSU isn't the only SEC school with a few bad apples, even Vandy has a rotten few. The GBFTL looked and sounded great on TV and there were a couple of fantastic shots of the Golden Girls.
The band sounded great! On TV, I kept hearing ya'll & could never hear Vandy's band in their own stadium! I loved it.
Berge, y'all sounded awesome on TV! I kept wondering how many bandmembers would fall out of the stands, since they had y'all jammed so far to the side.
Just wanted to let you know that I was on the exact opposite side of the band in the South end zone. You guys sounded great! I had several people with me who were at a game for the first time. They kept commenting on how much better our fans and, especially, our band was.
