Several of the area’s black head football coaches are meeting to discuss how coach Ed Orgeron handled the demotion of running backs coach and New Orleans area recruiter Jabbar Juluke in the aftermath of National Signing Day.
Sign of the times. What a pathetic message being taught to these kids. Don't there hs coaches realize Juluke was reassigned because they had their kids go elsewhere. Like bama. This shit is on them.
What gets me is how many of these shitbags would like it if someone in their area tried to pull this shit with their teams or told them how to run their respective high schools? Orgeron should tell them to go fuck themselves but that's probably not wise.
It's not wise. Like I said sign of the times and the sad part is he has to be very careful here. This is the nonsense that can hamstring a program. We didn't even fire the guy. He was reassigned and kept his benefits and insurance. Pretty sure this is all about race. Yet we are replacing him with another black guy.
What needs to happen is Juluke needs to step up and speak out against this. Reassure the area that LSU is in the best interest of these kids and that this was a move to help him. It's also ironic considering the conversations we have been having in the Devonta Smith thread.
There is no bright side to shit like this. Closing the door on O doesn't even remotely help their cause. Something smells...
