    1. LSU.............. .993
    2. Okie State..... .945
    3. Alabama........ .884
    4. Stanford........ .875
    5. Boise St......... .847
    6. Oklahoma....... .798
    7. Oregon.......... .771
    8. Arkansas........ .745
    9. Clemson......... .644
    10. Va Tech....... .591

Stanford will jump Bama next week with a win over Oregon. The question then remains can Stanford stay ahead of Alabama after that point? I think they will with the PAC 12 CG being played when Alabama would be finished with their season.

I still expect both Oregon and Oklahoma to jump Boise State by year's end if they win out. Oregon's computer polls are already rising and will significantly rise that much more with a win over Stanford. Oregon jumps Oklahoma and would sit just behind Boise State if that happens. Oregon with the extra win in the PAC 12 CG would most likely pass Boise State who would be playing a potential 0-11 team that last weekend of the season. Way to schedule your games, Boise State, you might want to fire whoever came up with that stroke of genius.

I think it is highly likely that Stanford will likely be our opponent in the NC game. I'm not certain that Oregon can take Stanford .. and you can bet that Stanford is breaking down all the tape from the LSU game earlier for clues on how to shut down L James.

OTOH .. with OU Losing it's top receiver .. It's also not certain that OU beats Okie State. I think there is high likelyhood that if Okie State beats OU, and is undefeated, they will trump an undefeated Stanford.

But to be frank .. I'd rather play Stanford .. to me they are the better team.

If we had lost to Bama, any thoughts how far down we would have been?

Stanford faces Oregon, Cal, Notre Dame and then the PAC 12 CG.

I give them a 10 percent chance of winning out.

It will be LSU vs Oklahoma State.

Without Broyles, OU will not be able to keep up with Okie State in the Bedlam game.

I thought the Texas Tech game was going to be Okie State's downfall, but that team has played pathetically since upsetting OU. Makes the loss by OU look really bad at this point.

I'm hoping for LSU and Okie St. to win out so this vaunted Tiger D can show the world how we do it against so called top offenses. Doesn't matter though, Okie St, Stanford... LSU will beat down either team.

We would run the ball and control the clock and never let Okie State get into a rhythm. Okie State QB would probably throw for 400 yards, but he would throw 2 critical interceptions and we'd also get 1 or 2 strip fumbles on sacks.

    LSU 51, Okie State 24

    Issy ...

So how does this play out ....

    1 loss Okie State
    1 loss OU
    1 loss Stanford
    1 loss Oregon
    1 loss Bama
    Undefeated Boisy

I would think Stanford gets eliminated from the Pac 12 CG, with Oregon taking their place .. giving them 1 more win than all the rest.

Does that vault them to the top?? or .. do they go with Boisy? .. or does Bama still play even though they will not benefit from the SEC CG? ... or does OU go to the dance having beat the #2 team?

If Boise loses with TCU, Oregon beats Stanford and OU beats OSU, there is a chance we play the ducks again in the NC.

    Islstl,

Is there anyway you (or any other BCS gurus) see Bama getting the BCS nod too if we both win out?

I sure as hell hope not, especially given that we beat them at home and they will be without a division or conf. championship.

I know one thing for certain - the media will interpret CLM's quote about being "honored" as an excuse to push for a rematch. As much as I admired him for saying that, I kinda cringed a bit too.

Les will play anybody, anytime, anywhere. He'd also be honored to beat the shiit outta his former team.
