That was the night I decided to quit drinking, FWIW. But I agree the dumbass deserved SOMETHING for being a dumbass. I don't agree that someone whipping out their genetalia and putting on someone's face warrants no punishment from the law. And I don't think that's pussified. What's pussified is taking advantage of someone while they're defenseless, even if they rendered themselves defenseless. Considering the state of the victim at the time it happened, I SERIOUSLY doubt he was doing anything to the teabagger that warranted retaliation.

I agree that jail time should be off of the table. He has not been officially sentenced yet, so maybe that will change. Personally, I think that instead of jail time he should be placed on probation but required to register as a sex offender for the next 10 years.

What he did is the equivalent of 3rd degree sexual assault: he committed a sex act by force that did not rise to 1st or 2nd degree sexual assault and the victim was suffering from a mental defect or incapacity which precluded the victim from providing consent. I think he is getting off (no pun intended) easy by being allowed to plea to an obscenity charge.

You know I wouldn't normally want to stereotype a group based on the actions of one person or a small group. After watching the Gumps it's hard to avoid stereotypes. They're just a bunch of losers!
