McGill tore a chest muscle while lifting weights in June, and there is a chance he will redshirt. Barrington Edwards, a transfer from Louisiana State who redshirted last season, will start in McGill's place. Edwards "does not have much experience. ... He has a lot of ability and a lot of confidence," Bunting said.
