    RALEIGH - The 2005 football season might be half over before North Carolina learns whether starting tailback Ronnie McGill can return from injury, coach John Bunting said Tuesday.

    McGill tore a chest muscle while lifting weights in June, and there is a chance he will redshirt. Barrington Edwards, a transfer from Louisiana State who redshirted last season, will start in McGill's place.

    Edwards "does not have much experience. ... He has a lot of ability and a lot of confidence," Bunting said.

    He's defintely starting. He may have anyway as his spring was incredible. Wish him well this year.

    hah... yeah I have been out of the country for the last three weeks... sooo I havent exactly seen all the CFB news...

    haha... going underway from last friday to yesterday didn't help either.
