I think he is every bit as good as Vincent, Broussard, and Carey (in his own way), but he is running behind a UNC offensive line... He's lucky he had positive yardage at all
I watched the telecast and apparently nothing has changed for Mr. Edwards. He was beaten out by a freshman for the starting rb position, he is still running his mouth, and many LSU fans still think he should be starting at LSU. He was playing against some pretty good defensive players. Auburn had trouble running on the Tech defense also.
Well, I was at the game on Saturday and I have to tell ya he did not look special at all. I was expecting him to really run hard after hearing what his coach said about BE running with the scout squad during the 2004 season. He seemed to be very tentative and received the blows instead of trying to give them. He really got put on his butt by one of the Tech DB's when it looked like he would have some positive yardage.
