With the results of last night, I started looking over how it looks from our end of the spectrum. The ole' Magic Number conversations are heating up!

    The way I see it...

UGA and AU are out of it and it is basically a battle between Bama, LSU, UT and UK to stay in the race for the final spots in the tourney. With Bama sitting at 14-14 (SEC play) and you guys tied with UK at 12-15-1 it puts you a step up, one step, above UT at 12-14. Worst case scenario (for my alma mater that is) is for LSU and UK win out and we lose our remaining games.

On the other hand, a win by Bama and a loss by you guys and UK (any combination equaling two) pretty much assures Bama a spot.

UT, on the other hand, has to sweep to get ahead of us. Although, if we win one more a sweep won't help them a bit since we would have the tie breaker. A lot of luck could get us close, if not ahead, to UF and MSU.

Good luck today and Saturday guys!

How do you see it breaking down on your end?

I think the hill is too big to climb. I do know, though, that I wouldn't want my team to face Price in the 1st game of the tournament.

It is not looking good for the home team, but even if they don't make it to the SEC tournament, it ain't gonna change nothing for me.

I will still be a :tigbas: fan.
