The season starts in one month. Where does everyone see the Tigers finishing? Will they make it to the post season? If so, how deep? Could Maineri bring a NC in his first season?

will make postseason and make some noise if we dont incur major injuries. But we are a year behind. Furbush ( and you think your name is bad) is an absolute stud pitcher who is awing all onlookers. Tall lefty who ill be watching on Feb 9th at first pitch. assuming he pitches.

he is a transfer from st. joes after dominating there. Pitched in the cape cod league 2 years and dominated some of the best players so the transition to the sec should be painless. much the same way olvey did except maineiri promises not to blow out any arms under his watch. yes, im still upset about that kid. that was inexcusable. then the coach he didnt get along with transfers to the school he transferred to. been some tough years for olvey. and his future in baseball may be shot on top of it.

I think that was pretty obvous simply by his fall-off from last season. Coach Maneiri is definitely a high-quality coach and will have this team playing to the best of its abilities. It's going to be pretty exciting to see what happens this season. Our schedule isn't very rigorous at all and should be favorable for getting a lot of players (especially pitchers) ready for SEC play. I think that with the talent we have at the pitching position, and the coach we have, we should have an absolutely phenomenal pitching staff. I'm thinking that we should breeze through the OOC schedule, but we'll have to see how we do there to make any predictions about the SEC, Regionals or SRs. :tigbas: :tigbas: :tigbas: :tigbas:

maineiri said theres always a spot for him but hints he's got a good chance to make an NFL roster in some fashion. people say he isnt accurate but fail to realize he has only kicked the 40+ yard fgs. well last year when they let him kick.

martian is gonna love him some charlie due to this ugly ass uni.

furbush, coleman, dirks and they picked up another really good lefty in blake martin but i havent heard much on him. daniel forrer left us when olvey did. i thought he was pretty good too.

look for dirks to be at the bottom of the rotation and possibly moved to the pen. His velocity is WAY down, not even in the 90's. coleman should be the 3rd guy. whoever is the 2nd guy is likely going to be a new face along with furbush.

im thinking jared bradford could be the #2. hes a righty transfer from some small college in alabama and word is maineiri is very impressed with him.

he loves jt wise and hollander which is understandable. how could he not.
