Understanding it will take time for Coach Jay Johnson to imprint his style and players into this program…..these current players are showing ZERO intensity in their approach to the game. I think it’s time for an old fashioned “Bertman style ass chewing “ on these guys!
Well I couldn't watch the games and I won't see the one tonight; so I can't comment on what happened. HOWEVER, if what you say is true I would be surprised. The commentary on Johnson made me think focus would not be an issue. Hopefully its only a matter of all the change in coaches and personnel taking a while to jell into a team culture.
This team has a fair amount of talent. But they are not hard men. They are spoiled children who don’t know how to grind.
Agree, it seems their heads aren't in the game or a lack of focus or something. No situational awareness and not a lot of team play. I see some stupid base running issues too.
