Thanks for the rundown KTeam. Baylor sure does take it's jokes during football season as the laghing stock of the Big 12 but wow do they bring it come baseball season.
I like this the most :hihi:. I can't stand South Carolina with their COCKy fans. :hihi: Hey, it's early, I HAD to throw that one in there!
Baylor usually fields a good ballclub and this year is no different. A sweep of the Longhorns is no small feat. I imagine they'll recover just fine and probably will be in contention for the Big 12 title come year's end. Nevertheless, congratulations to the Bears.
Arkansas is #8. this team is going to give LSU fits in the West. they are a sound club who has been flying under the radar. winning 2 at sarge frye is no small feat. I wouldnt be shocked if they are atop the west at the end fighting it out with us. the west is as tough as I can remember it. the goal is 20 wins and 10 losses which most always wins it. this year Im thinking 17-18 wins could win it and LSU starting 3-0 is huge. also think baylor could end up being the best team in the country due to their pitching. that kid who faced us a couple of years ago may now there ace. a wiry dude with his cap pulled down to his eyes. I think his name is mccormick and he can hit close to 100 mph. hanagriff mentioned him yesterday which reminded me. in a short series with some dominant pitching I sure as hell want no part of them as UT found out again. they beat UT last year during the season as well. Cal State could repeat since they have sick pitching with Romero, that latino? lefty who was their #1 or #2 starter last year. I was hoping he would turn pro and forgot til I saw the Tulane game and he was pitching. Im very upset USL dropped out the top 25 even after winning 2 of 3. lol why must they continue to rank ACC teams? when is the last time theyve done anything in the CWS? FSU? cmon. they go undefeated every year til postseason. UNC? what? Ga Tech is the last time i can recall. IF FSU couldnt win with JD Drew et al, they will never win it. rice gets swept by san jose st. interesting.
as the resident Baylor genius.... the Bears surprised me this weekend because they have struggled with their out of conference games this year, especially against good teams. they should hold course thru the Big 12 and get a regional bid. they have better then average pitching which keeps them in games, but their hitting is inconsitent...need to get into a grove. with that said, they lose to LSU in a best of 3.
I figure their hitting will come around in time for the postseason. You should make some of their games and give turtle some scouting reports. Im pretty sick of them getting quality pitchers. We are LSU damnit. come sit on our bench. Have you gone to any this year? isl must scout UT. You can scout Baylor. :hihi: I'll handle Rice.
