Late night, bored, football talk post.

    Mine would be

    WR Doucet
    WR Lafell
    WR Tolliver/Holliday

    TE Dickson

    RB Murphy

    QB Flynn

We gotta get TH the ball in space. Please throw this kid a screen.

WIlliams looked fine as did Hester to me, but Murphy just looked like he fit our scheme the best. Even though he played against the well beaten defense. He seemed to get across the line quickest to me.

Tolliver made some nice YAC after his catch. I want to see more.

    Doucet/Lafell appear to be no-brainers.

I think our offense will look a lot smoother on a dry field. I like your breakdown though. I kind of like rb by committee because of always having fresh legs.

    WR: Same as last game

    TE; Dickson/Zinger

RB: Split carries between KW and Murphy

    QB: Flynn

We do need to get the ball to TH in space. A direct snap would probably work.

I have a strong feeling that the game plan was Crowton's.

I would go with Williams and Murphy as the primary RBs.

I don't. I'm willing to bet that no Crowton offense ever had a run/pass ratio of 50 to 22 in any college game.

    I guarantee that it wasn't.

Crowton is a 60/40, 70/30 pass to run guy. This was a dumbed down version or Miles influence. Or Flynn tucking on his own, but this is the least likely of the three.

    For me:
    QB Flynn
    TB Williams
    WR Doucet
    WR LaFell
    WR Tolliver
    TE Dickson

Hopefully Holliday is used in a more effective way vs. VA Tech. I also don't like Hester getting the bulk of the carries. I think Keiland should get most of them mixed in with Murphy & Scott. Hester should carry the ball in short yardage situations & take passes out of the backfield at either TB or FB.
