With all the hype about our great football recruits I didn't realize how good we did in basketball. I think the point guard(minor?) was in the McD's game. Is Bass really the stud they say he is? Who here has seen him play? Your impressions?

Every time we start getting good our stud bolts. Chris Jackson, Shaq, Stromile. Hope he isn't next in line. I have a love/hate affair
with tiger basketball. I remember staying up late as a teenager many nights to see a tiger lead dissappear with less than a minute left on the clock. My poor desk took one hell of a beating. I think the Kentucky game caused me to redecorate due to several pieces of broken furniture. What do you guys think of Brady? Remember LSU vs Wisconsin? OUCH! But to be fair he has beat 'zona too.

Favorite basketball moments( I'm old enough to remember): in no particular order
the shaq d' shaq at 'zona
    chris jackson droppin' 50
    stro over mihm
ronnie henderson from the free throwline dunk
    ANY vernel singleton dunk

whatever happened to clarence" cock it to the side and let it fly" ceasar?

I saw Bass in the McDonalds' game and the EA Sports games. He looks to be pretty good.....more raw that anything. Decent outside shot that will need some work.....slow delivery. He was somewhat overlooked in BR basketball b/c his team wasn't great. Then again Lazare that we signed from Woodlawn, was on the best team in the state but wasn't very highly pubbed either.

Minor played in another all-star game.....can't remember which...it wasn't on tv. know nothing about him. except suppose to be able to shoot lights out but is a potential "attitude" problem.

Rejis Koundjia (sp?) played in the EA game with Bass he had some pretty serious ups but other than that couldn't tell much. Brady said a few months back that he thought Rejis' athletic ability was very similar to Stro's.....hope so.

Everything I have read has stated different things. Some call Bass a top 10 national talent. Others say Minor is our best incoming freshmen. Rejis has also been mentioned elsewhere as our best incoming freshmen. I hope they are all three right. :) But in my opinion, Bass will be a 18 pt 10 rebound guy and will be gone after his junior year to the NBA. Tack will score 20 pt's in his best season( I think it will be his Senior year). I think Rejis will average 11pts, 8 rbs, 4 assts. I think he will be more of a complete player than the other two. I could be completely wrong, just my insight...Either way, this is our best class in a long time...
