and unanimous first team All-SEC along with Lawrence Roberts, Anthony Roberson, Kennedy Winston, and another guard who I am forgetting.

Second team All-SEC includes Big Baby, who was also the SEC Freshman of the year and 1st team Freshman All-American, and David Lee.

Among the 2nd and Third team (can't remember exactly) are Earnest Shelton, J. Davidson, R. Brewer, K. Azubuike, Chuck Davis, and Tony Douglas.

South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Georgia had no players selected to any of the top 3 teams.

Tubby Smith SEC Coach of the year.

Thanks to Michael (Cabo? sp?) from Songy's show for this info.

They also assumed that Brady was a close second for coach of the year.

In all honesty, why name Tubby Coach of the Year?

If the only criteria for winning this award is to "win games", then they should just give it to Kentucky on a permanent basis.

That's a great honor for Bass and Davis. Good to see them getting such high recognition, just in time for the national spotlight!

Did the white boy from Kentucky make first team all SEC?

I agree that it doesn't make much sense to crown a coach who does good with more rather than a coach who overachieves with less.

Although Brady hasn't won Coach of the Year even once yet.

    I say fire him.

    /still want Brady gone
//got no reasoning to support my opinion
