I agree, but I think that is the reality being reflected of what many here have been saying. As bad as ND may be against the higher ranked teams, they are almost certainly going to get in. The scenarios reflect that, and most of the commentary here tends to suggest that ND either goes to the Rose or Sugar. The TP scenarios are saying the same thing. iststl has been on it.
If you notice, in the scenario that USC loses (Florida wins or loses), they place LSU vs. USC in the Rose Bowl. If USC wins (Florida wins or loses), then we are either in the Orange (Florida win) or totally out (Florida loses). So the Rose doesn't mind the Michigan/Notre Dame rematch, but they are steering clear of a USC/Notre Dame rematch. Very interesting perspective. Only thing I could think of is enough time has passed and they have forgotten how badly Notre Dame got outplayed vs. Michigan (it was worse that what we saw vs USC Saturday Night, believe it or not). The ugly loss Saturday Night is too fresh and the Rose will avoid a rematch vs. USC. That is what I think they are saying. Like I said, interesting perspective. Go Bruins!
yea i know. It just pisses me off that herb and old man are pushing for a ND - Mich rematch. ND doesn't even deserve to be ranked.
The good news is that the UM folks don't seem to want that either, not that it matters. Maybe they will have some pull in this (UM Alums).
If Notre Dame was ranked correctly at the beginning of the season (between 12 and 15), then this team would be out of the top 14 in the BCS right now. Oh well.
as long as LSU does not get screwed im happy. If we do lets just go with the plan of taking over ESPN in Bristol and airing 03 NCG over and over again
