Hey guys, really need some college football knowlege this way.....1st off, just want to say that this is a great web site, and I love what you all have dome with the place! What do you think USC's chances are of beating Oregon Saturday? How messed up do you think the BCS will be if........Boston College loses tonight,Ohio State losesOregon loses &Arizona State loses (they could lose to a good Cal team since ASU has not played anybody all year long)Do you think Rutgers can pull off the upset at home to West Virginia?Sounds like the perfect storm.Granted if all this happens.....where would USC be placed? 4th possibly, after LSU and Oklahoma, and Va Tech?
Welcome to the forum. :geaux: Better than average. That would be delightfully messed up. Not this year. 3rd probably, USC hasn't been blown out like VT has by  .
VTech is 8th, USC is 12th in the BCS. I think Vtech would hold off USC. But, thank goodness you won't have to worry about that. Oregon is going to win by no less than 17.
The USC loss to Stanford was bad for two reasons...1) it was a loss; and 2) Stanford really sucks. Beating Arizona by only seven points also didn't help USC's chances of moving up. Beating Oregon would be helpful but they won't have a shot unless several teams lose. I don't believe USC is a Top 5 team but since nobody seems to want to win it all this year, you never know. Hopefully our players will play to their capabilities so we can cruise through the last four games and be in a position for a shot at the crystal. :geaux: :crystal:
If all of that happens like was proposed in the OP, don't forget the major winner here. Kansas. Mark Mangino vs. Les Miles in the national title game? Possible.
If USC wins out they would need a bunch of help. I can see Oregon jumping LSU to #2 this weekend with a win though. Just the way things are shaping up with the love for Pac-10 and the "luck" the media has said LSU has had in the past few games.
I don't think there is anyway possible this would happen. The spread on the bcs points is too big for them to make up that much ground.
