I normally don't get freaked out very easily about this kinda stuff and I don't know how much of it is true but today while I was at work, pretty much every single customer that came in had a different story about how someone got robbed or mugged or carjacked or something. Just want to say to everyone to be careful. Watch your back when you go anywhere. They shut down the Wal-Mart by Cortana last night because of a riot or something and they shut down the one in Denham Springs because of 2 dudes fighting over a loaf of bread. I would hate to see any TFer's in the news and all. Safety First!!! :thumb:

I also heard reports of someone being robbed at gunpoint at the Central Wal-Mart as well as a carjacking in Zachary. This is nuts.

not being there, i obviously cant say for sure, but i think you should probably assume that 95% of what you hear is made up or wildly exaggerated.

I brought my car to an auto shop in zachary to be worked on. They guy told me he couldnt keep my car over night because he was clearing his parking lot. He said that he had worked on 4 cars already that had been broken into elsewhere, and all of the ones on his lot had been broken into. They guy had his office locked and said the place across the street had already shut down. Everyone be careful. Keep your doors locked when you drive, especially at redlights. Lock you doors tonight.

    if we play, yes!

it is not as bad as we all are saying!

it is a fraction of the old New Orleans on any given night

American Airlines called me and told me my flight to New Orleans from Dallas (connecting from Denver) was cancelled, and that they couldn't get me on another flight. I told them that that sucked, I'm from Louisiana originally and was going to the LSU-ASU game, and they ended up giving me a full refund...

I'd rather be at the game, though...

Try Continental through Houston to Lafayette. Then rent a car and drive the 50 miles.
