First the OC from Boise State turns you down, now Moffett. Coaching is a fraternity and right now you are scum to them. You cannot be trusted. And that will include a myriad of talented high school players who will not be wooed by your fake ass garbage you spew at them. You will struggle to recruit in your own home state with Tubby. It's gonna be tough sledding. It will be nice to see you fail with 7-5, 8-4 and 9-3 seasons these upcoming years. You won't even sniff an SEC championship game, much less win one. The only question is how long will Bama fans and alum put up with your less than stellar performances on the field. Where to next Tricky Nicky? I wish you the worst.
what do maggots and bama fans have in common... yeah, thas what i think when all these saban threads keep popping up. get over it. enjoy what we have here now.
He will get plenty of good players. The players that dream of playing for Alabama. I think the downfall of this marriage will be Alumni or Athletic department egos vs Nick Saban's ego. I also think its real funny that he didn't want to stay at MSU and play second fiddle to UM but now he's going to be at Bama and have to deal with the same recruits and deal with another university, Auburn Tigers! The Irony of it all!
Being that islstl is one of my favorite posters I will respond to this Saban thread and this one ONLY! (Not that anyone cares I know) But here I go... #1 As most of you know I am in Miami every week. The true Fins fans were still behind Saban to make his mark. They all knew what a damaged team he was handed and were willing to stay behind him for at least another couple of years! Saban is too much of a (word a woman doesn't say) to ride it out and try. #2 I read in the New Orleans newspaper on the way back to Orlando that Saban said something (no exact qoute) to the affect that he didn't realize that it would take so many years to rebuild a team. It is easier in college to rebuild and that it is close to impossible to rebuild in one year or two in the pros. This I am sure is true to some degree but lets ask Payton if it is impossible?????? Bottom line of all of this between being in Miami and on this forum I will puke if I here the SOB's name again...go ahead somebody have fun with that comment!!!!!!!!
I dont think Nick Saban is going to take Auburn North to the promised land and i dont think their fans will be as happy as they think.
I am so glad you pointed that out. WOW! Now that really makes Saban look bad.  :hihi: Here is a Coach that was able to pull it together in a year. However, he came from the NFL and not the college venue. Apparently that seems to be a problem for some college coaches. DITTO!
