Anyone else sick of this bs..........? Do you know that you can get a federal licence to SHOOT BEARS? Ever seen a dead bear? Usually they have all kinds of flies swarming around them........................leave them alone and they have maggots. :geaux:
You know what I find funny? Out of all the Bama fans that have posted here over the last few weeks it isn't them bringing up Coach Bryant. Heck, looking around Bama forums you won't find him mentioned much at all....you find it from the media and rival fans.
Not lately....although we feel we got screwed against you guys...but that's football..............however, we love "Gentleman Johnny Vaught" as much as you love the "Bear." But we KNOW he is DEAD.....................
Oh c'mon Terry, don't you find it funnier to run across an Ole Miss fan picking on anybody?? :hihi: In fairness to the col though, he does have fun with his own team too, and has posted some pretty funny stuff about the Ole Miss situation- indirectly, at times, though...still.
BULL.......You guys often mention his legacy...........and you should..........he was one hell of a coach.............so was Vaught............so was Cholly Mac..all in their time......Bama used to give out so many schollys that they had others fighting for the left overs. But it wasn't against the rules.. Bear was a college football GENIUS. Many players would rather be fourth team for BAMA than first team else where. Vaught and Mac gave him hell, but he ruled...Can't take that away from him.........but I disagree that it is more us than ya'll.:thumb:
Little known Bear trivia.... I did not know this until I looked at Wikipedia..... B.J. and the Bear was a comedy/adventure television series which aired on NBC from 1979 to 1981. It starred Greg Evigan as B. J. (Billie Joe) McKay, a professional freelance itinerant trucker who traveled the country's highways in a Kenworth K-100 cab over semi truck with his pet chimpanzee, Bear (named for Bear Bryant, the famed college football coach; this explains the chimp's choice of headwear). He was constantly harassed by sheriff Elroy P. Lobo (Claude Akins, who eventually spun off onto his own show, The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo).
