Earthquake Game 1988 Auburn WAS #4 and averaging 40 ppg. on offense. LSU had failed to move the ball all game. Hodson had made zero mistakes, but had been through the "Jason White" treatment and looked a little punch drunk. The defense was exhausted, but incredibly tough. The fans were, at times, chanting "here we go tigers, here we go" when the DEFENSE took the field. And the Tigers were wearing ..... The Purple Jerseys. I think we, as fans, need to sack-up and demand the Purple Jerseys.
