Been craving some frog legs so.....

  1. headed down to the pond tonight for about 30 min and grabbed 8(1 cleaned before pic) couple big ones and few medium sized but they'll make a fine lunch tomorrow. Little rusty missed 3 and had to kill 1 more moccasin.

    They only kinda dead in the pic and only 1 pic so maybe our more sensitive readers won't get quit so offended. Ha

  5. Season closed in Apr and May in Louisiana. I hear you can really mop 'em up then cause they're bunched up for mating.
  6. Do you save the rest to use as bait or just toss them?
  7. Toss em. Kinda messy on the top half but I imagine a catfish would eat em.

  9. I was thinking something more along the lines of crab bait. Do you run any crab pots? I used to have 10 that I worked, but not living in Mandeville anymore makes the drive not worthwhile.
  10. Used to but not now. Uncle and buddy do and we have a little barter set up fish for crabs whenever I want any
