Man, did ya'll see Martellus Bennett declare Live on Fox Sports SW??? He had a coin w/ Texas and LSU on it and flipped to decide where he would go, or so we thought. It landed on LSU. I jumped out of my chair and started going nuts. Then he picks up the LSU hat and says "nah" and then the Texas one and said no to them too. Then he picked up A&M and put it on his lil' sister's head and said he was going there. Gosh, what a tease man! I went from so happy to disappointed in a second! OH well, it would have been nice to get him, but I'd rather get R.J. Jackson and Brandon LaFell, who both declared to LSU earlier. I think LaFell is gonna be a sleeper/steal of the our recruiting class and R.J. will be very solid as well.
The second that he said the coin had LSU and Texas, I knew that he would be picking up the A&M at after that. Just seemed to fit the way he is.
The unconfirmed rumor I heard is that "Colt is not going to bolt" regardless of what RP does. Who knows what is going to happen.
Well, I guess you'll just have to keep kicking Fran's a$$ on the football field and basketball courts... Since A&M won't play us anymore, we won't get our chance, but you guys can do it! :thumb:
If you are going to compare two to one, yes, we are better off with RJJ and BL. But don't kid yourself, Bennett would have been and incredible addition and the Aggies got a great, great player I think. I was kind of hoping he woud be the next coming of Spears to tell you the truth.
