What a joy to watch this guy. Very smooth. His TD is posted as one of the Plays of the Week on the lesmiles.net website. It's great to see that we're taking advantage of his speed. BTW, a great toss by Matt Flynn as well! :geauxtige
I've been a big fan of this guy for a long time. Glad to see some good things happen for him. If he was just a little bigger, the future could be really interesting for him. Still might be.
Any word on how this staff taught him how to catch? The big knock on him before this season, was he dropped everything. To be fair, I'd only seen a few passes thrown his direction before this season.(he did miss those few though) However they did it, I'm glad, he's such a weapon because of his speed.
Bennie is a true testament to a "team player" who paid his dues on special teams, didn't get discouraged and is having a fantastic year. I'm really happy for him to end his LSU career and experience on such a high note. Because it's guys like Bennie Brazell who will go out and carry the proverbial "torch" for LSU throughout the world. I personally love to see former Tigers ala Shaq and many others talk about the great time they had while in Baton Rouge at LSU.
He hasn't dropped many this year. He is a great vertical threat. Tends to make 1 big play every game.
i really think he will get a shot with somebody in the nfl. i really think with coaching he could continue to develop.
Actually, he hasn't droped any passes this year. I think he will pick track & field cause he will make more money than a 3rd round NFL draft pick.
Yeah ... you and me both ... I was happy when LSU signed him ... unlike some of the other rif-raff in here like Tiger-Educated who always slammed this guy. Kudos to Bennie ... and I hope he catches 2 long ones for 6 in his last game. You never know if he'll get an NFL tryout and make it ... I like his chances with that speed ... someone may take a chance on him.
He is making a big impact this year. His catches have been crucial and game changing on many occasions. GEAUX BENNIE!
