New Iberia folks swear by that place. Pretty good but not one of my favorites. I enjoy the boudin but pass on their cracklins
My family is from New Iberia ... Legnon's never was the best ... Not even in New Iberia ... Nook's was the best there ... And he was a B at best !!!! Old man died a few years back and only Legnon's remains now along with a few other small joints ... not noteworthy We used to joke with Nookie and call him a hog rustler ... But if you're stuck in New Iberia with $2.50 gas ... Legnon's will work It's all good even when it's not the best!
Rabideaux's is definitely a cut below the Scott boudins ... But closest to Lake Charles & Sulfur and only a mile or so south of I-10 and it ain't bad ... Had me some this Spring along with some other goodies on a trip back from Sulfur LA ... Good local joint and worth a stop to try a link and compare with Billy's ... www.boudinlink.com
