Most improved from start to finish would have to be Demetrius Hookfin....

    The Soul Patrol
(LSU secondary from late 70's-early 80's)

    Chris Williams, CB
    James Britt, CB
    Willie Teal, SS
    Marcus Quinn, FS

Take your pick of any of these as the greatest LSU DB of all time in my book.
My personal choice is Williams (still career INT leader at LSU - sorry, Corey-
w/ 20 picks). All four of these guys wound up playing pro football at some level.

    Great Db's

LSU has had a long history of great db's...
    Jerry Stovall
    Johnny Robinson
    Tommy Casanova
    Mike Williams
    Chris Williams
    Willie Teal
    Marcus Quinn
    James Britt
    Liffort Hobley
    Jeffery Dale
    Eugene Daniel
    Greg Jackson
from the long passed teams of the latest teams:
    Ryan Clark
    Corey Webster
    Tarvis Daniels
    LoRan Landry
Of CB I saw Tommy, Chris and Corey stand head and shoulders above the rest and of the fs & s LoRan, Liffort stand out.
The two strongest overall units on the field 79 soul patrol and the 03 NC teams, this year 04 even with the injuries was one of the better overall secondary.

Stovall was runner up for the Heisman and was an all-pro in the NFL. I rest my case. :D
