there were two plays that stay with me after the embarrassment of the U so I figured this was a good excuse to reminisce. both safeties were laid out and I enjoy nothing more than watching a sh*t talking db get flattened. especially those cocky bastages.
Addai baby! Because THAT was the first play that made me say aloud, "DAMN! We're TOTALLY kicking their ARSE!"
best hit really was probably the one that got leveled on ken hollis early in the game. i thought he would have been out cold.
If you watch that hit again, you will notice that the Bama player ran and made the hit at full speed, yet seemd to bounce right off the LSU player.
All of ya'll are wrong. 2nd quarter with 10:30 left, Darnell Jenkins put that iron on Jonathan Zenon. The announcer said "And Devin Hester takes it across the middle, he runs around the end and OOOOOOOOOOOOO WHAT A HIT WHAT A HIT!" It was beautiful.
I voted for Hester's play, mostly because I was excited to see him get plenty of playing time in such a big game. Look forward to seeing more of the same in 2006.
