Georgia has not traveled outside of the SE in 212 years so I don't think we can measure their traveling success.

Oh, HELL yea. You beat me to that one. OTOH, Auburn, Arkansas, and Tennessee get cred for making it out to Cali over the last few years. What ya'll waiting for? You've got an empty spot on next year's schedule, yes? :hihi:

lemson is the best that the ACC has to offer for bringing a crowd, well that is not too impressive. 40K of 68K at the MCB were UK fans.

I've always wondered what the context was in this statement.

The reason it intrigues me is Bryant's record in BR was 8-1. I'm not discounting a thing...just wonder what was said/asked in the presser for that quotation.

    Anyone here remember?

I made it to cali last year for the Rose Bowl. problem was...we played in the sugar. :(
I'd say that Tennessee travels the best. I went to the 86 sugar bowl between Tenn and Miami, fla. The dome must have been 95% orange.

I wouldn't say that because Miami travels so poorly. Heck, they have home games they don't fill the stadium.

In all fairness I should say that The Hogs were GREAT fans when they were out here. Some of the best. And I also forgot to mention how well Tejas showed up for the Rose Bowl in 2006. There was more burnt orange than C&G. Ticket prices were crazy.............all that oil money. :yelwink2:
