From the Orlando Sentinel: Big Money Drives Cross-Country Football Matchups

"In a way, though, the Beavers already have won. In the highest-known non-bowl payout in college football history, LSU will hand over $1 million to Oregon State for Saturday night's game."

Actually I heard that LSU is paying $600,000 and ESPN is paying $400,000.

Is a beating worth that much to OSU

You betcha ... that's some really good coin ... and they aren't getting nearly enough

Their dogs back home in Oregon are gonna "feel their pain" :hihi: and they'll be howlin' all night long.

No wonder Riley wanted a game with such magnitude of competition for the maturation of his players in a hostile environment... yada yada yada

i.e.: A.D. said Cha-Ching bring it home baby.
