1. Tomorrow at 2pm Les Miles is having a press conference with Black and Scott to announce their decisions on entering the NFL Draft.

    That does not sound good.
  2. Re: Black and Scott Press Conference

I am 90% sure Ciron is staying being he told me he was staying himself, so I think Miles might be celebrating those who are staying -- these guys and not celebrating thsoe who are going.

Unless if RJF isn't going out now.
  3. Re: Black and Scott Press Conference

Brady James held a press conference at a bank in his home town to announce that he was staying. I hope Ciron and Chuck stay. Not simply b/c of their talent but I would hope that they would provide some good sr leadership next year. If they do leave early , I wish them all the best, both have represented LSU w/ pride and class and have left nothing on the field in my humble opinion.

Thanks, that was what I wanted to hear.

  5. Re: Black and Scott Press Conference

No worries, brother. Ciron Black is staying. I know this to be 100% fact.
  6. Re: Black and Scott Press Conference

I hear, and believe, the same to be true about Scott.
  7. Re: Black and Scott Press Conference

I am confident that both are staying but now I am not so confident about Lafell.
  8. Re: Black and Scott Press Conference

Yeah, I am too. Maybe I'm reading too much into Kendall Kelley's recent comments. I wasn't worried about LaFell until I read KK's comments.
  9. Re: Black and Scott Press Conference

word is it has been moved to tomorrow, and all who might possibly leave will announce on Thursday. Maybe a good sign??? I don't know
  10. Re: Black and Scott Press Conference

I hope these guys make a well informed decision so we don't have a repeat of Trev Faulk back in 2002.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- LSU linebacker Trev Faulk will forgo his senior season to make himself eligible for the NFL draft.

Faulk, a first team All-Southeastern Conference selection, led the Tigers with 119 tackles this season.

In three years with the Tigers, Faulk started in 33 of 36 games and finished with 300 tackles, including 18 for losses and four sacks. Faulk was a semifinalist for the Butkus Award, given to the nation's top linebacker.

"I sat down with my mom and my family, and we made the decision that we felt was best for us," Faulk said. "My projections aren't as high as I'd hope for them to be, but that doesn't deter me. I feel like now is the best time for me as I try to pursue my goals at the next level."
