Bo Pelini to become next head coach at LSU in 08

    Miles will be gone to Michigan.

    Pelini will be named head coach to avoid losing him to another team.

    Crowton will remain OC.

    Pelini will name a DC that is inline with his defensive philosophy.

    And the beat goes on.

    LSU wins back to back championships in 07 and 08. Pelini named coach of the year.

    Deal with it.

    I would hate to see Miles leave. But,,,,,,I think this is a believable scenario. And I would LOVE to see Pellini as our coach, he's probobly earned it.

    If Miles leaves, and I don't think he will, Pelini won't be the head coach.

    I read an article a couple of week ago that raised the possibility. It pointed out that Pelini doesn't like to recruit and isn't comfortable with public speaking. My own opinion is he's more comfortable with X's & O's.

    Do you think Skip and the administration would promote a coordinator? I see them pursuing a "name" coach in the event Les leaves.

    I dont want him as HC if the rumors about him not liking to recruit are true.

    Besides- LSU is at the level where we can get a great, proven HC. I believe we might be able to lure Del Rio or Gruden here from the NFL. If not, we could still get a guy like Rodriguez, Spurrier, etc.

    I am just going to enjoy the season, one game at a time. We can worry about what happens after the season is over. Just enjoy the ride.
