I'm not going to be one of those parents who thinks it can't happen to their kid. At this point, I wouldn't rule out a thing. I'm even hearing Saban wants out of Bama and would jump at the chance to return- which I have a hard time believing- but who knows. (Well, besides Terry?) :hihi: J/P Terry, couldn't resist. Not to mention our bowl game. This Arkansas loss, as much as it hurts, could pale in comparison to the potential of what we're facing. I beat if he looked like Stoops you wouldn't be sayin that.
Imagine the uproar if players took breaks in the middle of a semester and right before a conference championship to go talk with other schools about better opportunities.
It's one thing for a team to have to deal with distractions from the outside. It's another when the distractions come from the coaches themselves. I still say it's unprofessional and there really should be some rules with stiff penalties involved. What kind of penalties? Well, how about if your job search takes place during the season, you have to sit out a year without pay before you can take on the new job. OK, so it would be hard to enforce 'cause it would be hard to prove, but doggone it, this is just WRONG. The worst thing about it is that we've suspected his mind was on Nebraska and it appears that we were right. The selfish actions of the coaches may actually have cost our shot at the NC. Why would another school want to hire a coach who cares that little about the team he currently represents? :angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfireo:o:o:o:o:o::cuss::cuss::cuss::cuss::cuss::cuss::cuss:
I think the LSU job was only temporary for Bo until Callacan't was fired. And he has known this all along that's why he's not hesitating to talk to NU! At least that's the speculation from the Huskers fans up here!
Remember back when our D was pretty dominant? That's when Bo's head was into Tiger football. The bad showings on D really started about the time it became obvious that Callahan was out at Nebraska...which was about the time Tom Osborne took over as AD out there in the middle of nowhere.o:
