[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpKW6AlaJJw]Bobby Hebert calls out Les Miles - YouTube[/ame] Then there's Bobby Hebert probably sitting Indian Style on the floor wearing his personalized LSU shirt with a neck full of Mardi Gras beads and a Tiger animal hat basically telling Les he's an A-hole.....awesome. Thought it was funny, I still love ya Daddy Miles.....
That was the first time I ever watched a post game interview and didn't have to scream "why wont someone ask the real f ing questions". Bobby went right at him, wish he would of followed Les's answer with a bull****! The press always lets the coachs weasel their way out of bad game planning or in game decissions. It was nice to see Bobby quiet the room and warm CLM seat up a bit and make him squirm. Just wish it was questions having to be asked to Saban and not towards our coach.
Hebert obviously knows football and it was his sons last game he had every right to be pissed.....worst play calling ever! So glad this era of QB's is over.
Bobby Hebert deserves a lot of props for what he did last night, he is getting vilified in the press today for what he did as they say he stepped over the bounds of fan and broadcaster. I personally disagree with that, Hebert has the pedigree and the knowledge to ask those tough questions he played more football than Les Miles did and was more successful at it also. Of all people to question why a QB change was not made would be a former pro-bowl QB. The only difference is Hebert actually has skin in the game and that is why he asked that tough question. Hebert deserves our support and he has mine. Les Miles is paid a lot of money by us and he should be held accountable for major mistakes like last night's game preparation and unwillingness to change and adapt as the game went on. Does that mean that he has not done a great job for us, absolutely not he has. Does that mean he should not coach us, absolutely not he definitely should be our head coach. But he is in charge and when a major mistake is made, just like when a player on his team is held accountable for their mistakes he needs to man up and take responsibility for his mistake and give us all a truthful explanation as to what happen. People will respect that and might not agree with what he has to say but at least will respect the fact that he is taking responsibility for his mistakes like he asks his players to take responsibility for their mistakes and in fact forces them to. Miles should do the same he will earn respect that way. And as for our beloved coon-ass Bobby Hebert the CAJUN CANNON, please keep being who you are, please make sure you ask the tough question the public deserves the answers. Les Miles owes Tiger Nation some answers and if people that have both the knowledge of the game and what should have been done and podium in which to ask those questions of our leaders don't ask then there is a chance the truth gets hidden. And all we can ask as fans is for the truth, we might not like what we hear but we are owed the truth and individuals who pay the CEO's salary and everyone who has ever paid for a ticket to a Tiger game or donates as alumni or supports the program in anyway deserves to know the truth as painful as it maybe.
Injury, I think, but he was there. I also support Hebert and also wish he would have followed with a "bull****" remark after Miles' "answer", which totally sucked.
Bobby mentioned a few weeks ago on WWL radio that Miles didn't start T-Bob on Senior Night and he said that was really hurtful given everything T-Bob had done for the team and led the offensive line in pancake blocks. That concerned me when I heard it.
Les/Studrawa have never rotated the offensive linemen in and out like Chavis does on defense. On the O-line if you start, you play the whole game unless you are hurt. When you never get benched, you get sloppy. Hurst had almost as inept a night as Jefferson. He got two stupid illegal procedure penalties when he couldn't count to HUT THREE. He got beat on the outside repeatedly and failed to open holes or protect his quarterback. Meanwhile talented young linemen never get a chance to develop or go in and make something happen. The O-line was done late in the 3rd quarter, I could see it, you could see it. Meanwhile T-Bob and the other reserves had to watch it from the sidelines.
