LSU associate head coach Bobby Williams interviewed for two hours with athletic director Skip Bertman last night (Wednesday night). Per Louisville Courier-Journal's Thursday report

Why do they know more about who has been interviewed than the Baton Rouge media?

    Per ESPN

No reason to panic. Skip is interviewing as many potential candidates as possible, regardless of popularity. This makes me feel even better.

Who's the HC at Michigan State now? I just wanted to know so I'd know who would follow Williams here...

I have nothing against him, really. I just want a coach that "WOW's" me. He doesn't.

Like I posted yesterday, when a minority candidate officially interviews, I feel like we are close to naming our next coach. I'm sticking to that. Maybe after the game Saturday.

If it's Del Rio, I would expect Sunday night or Monday.

Then get ready for none other than John L. Smith, who left Louisville to coach there. Strange. Anyway, I don't know too much about Williams other than he coached receivers for the Lions (I think) in the NFL and his players quit on him when has was at Mich. St. The latter is really all I need to know about his coaching ability.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind John L. Smith interviewing for the job at LSU. Who do you think set up the table for Petrino over at Louisville?

Also, if this is one of Nick's recommendations to Skip, that makes it twice in a row that he's recommended Bobby as his replacement.
